A seasoned Professional Mining Engineer, currently working as Senior Mining Engineer at Micon's Toronto Office. With a rich history in the mineral industry spanning back to 1999, Mr. San Martin brings a wealth of expertise to the table. His proficiency encompasses mineral resource estimation, management of mining exploration data, and optimization of open pits and underground stopes. He is well-versed in utilizing advanced geological modeling, mine planning software, along with adept skills in geological database design, construction, and management. Before joining Micon in 2008, Mr. San Martin made significant contributions to the Fruta del Norte gold project in Ecuador while working for Aurelian Resources Inc. (now Lundin Gold Inc.). His role involved close collaboration with the Ecuadorian team, focusing on geological database management, as well as the implementation of robust quality assurance and quality control systems. Furthermore, Mr. San Martin's early career path was marked by invaluable experience in Mine Project Development up to Feasibility level, notably highlighted by his pivotal role in the Tambo Grande Project at the TG-1 VMS Deposit in northern Peru.
